This privacy and cookie policy aims to give you information on how Quality Save collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

Quality Save Limited is the controller and is responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as "COMPANY", "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy and cookie policy).

Purpose of having CCTV cameras in store

CCTV recording is active in all Quality Save stores and customers are advised notably through notices at the front of the store as they enter.

CCTV recording in all of our stores and recordings are captured and processed in the legitimate business interests of:

CCTV footage of store visitors is recorded as laid out in our internal CCTV policy and procedures. The physical infrastructure and recordings are stored and backed-up internally.

We will not disclose this data to third parties unless required to do so by the legal authorities when we have a statutory obligation to provide such recordings.

Recordings may be used in evidencing legal cases / on going disputes where all requirements for the access and storage of such data have been met as laid out in our internal procedures.

Retention periods relating to CCTV recorded data

CCTV footage is kept for a period of up to 3 months from the time of recording. In situations where there is an on-going investigation / claim, the footage may be retained for a period of up to 3 years or until the claim is finalised.

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

Quality Save uses Google Analytics which track your interactions with the website so we can improve our user experience and ensure our content is relevant. We cannot identify you from this information and cookies such as this can be disabled from within your browser menu, as required.

We have, wherever possible, put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

In addition, we limit access to your personal data to only those employees who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data under clear instruction and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

How long will you use my personal data for?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

We try to respond to all subject access requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated throughout.
